Alternative fuel (TAP) from mixed waste

Features

The line for the production of solid alternative fuel (TAP) from mixed waste makes it possible to produce solid fuel with a defined size from various types of materials. We are based on the current offer of waste, where textiles, plastics, composites, foils, paper and similar materials predominate. The line usually consists of two stages of crushing, conveyors and separators. For simpler tasks, single-stage shredding on a single-shaft shredder type S1 is also possible. A description of the shredder can be found here.

We assemble the lines based on the customer's specifications. We have supplied lines with an output from 500 kg/hour to 5 t/hour.

Description of the line with an output of 3 t/h

The assembly of the line at the input depends on the cleanliness of the input material. Based on our experience with similar lines, we do not recommend filling directly with a loader.

The line starts with an inlet chain conveyor with a metal indicator. The indicator is set to indicate large metal objects (bearing, logs 40 mm and higher, etc.) that should not be in the waste. The conveyor carries the waste from the raw waste storage area to the input crusher. The crusher hopper is aspirated due to dustiness. This is where the coarse crushing takes place in the SB 1600-85 kW double-shaft slow-running shredder. A description of the shredder can be found here. Pieces of approximately 100x100x50 mm fall out under the shredder. These are carried by a belt conveyor 800 mm wide and 3 m long directly to the belt hopper, which is a 2000 mm wide conveyor located at the bottom of the tank. At its end there is a throwing roller, which is adjustable and allows you to set the exact amount going further into the mill and guarantees an even flow of material into the knife mill. At the same time, it serves as a retention tank for pre-shredded waste (crushing in the pre-shredder may be uneven). This is followed by magnetic separation. The separated material falls onto a conveyor 800 m wide and 7 m long to the G 600/1200 110 kW mill through a 30-35 mm sieve. A description of the mill can be found here. The mill is equipped with an overload lock. If the load reaches the set value, the input conveyor to the mill is stopped and automatically started again after the overload subsides. The material is transported from the mill by a conveying fan. The grit goes through the pipe into a cyclone with a filter, where it is separated from the air. The grit falls through the rotary feeder onto the conveyor belt. It transports the grit into a container. The line has a central switchboard, which is used to ensure all control algorithms.  If you are interested, the data can be transferred to a superior system with a PC. The computer can be equipped either with monitoring and display software or with a program enabling control interventions. Selected nodes of the line can be monitored by an industrial camera and displayed on a separate monitor, or loaded into a computer.
